Our Mission

Learning Gardens at Rocky Branch Trails is a program of the NC State Stewards and Campus Grounds and Facility Services that aims to strengthen the community’s connection with the land through regenerative and sustainable land management practices.  This garden is made by students, for students, to reaffirm how beneficial it is to both respect and nurture the land.

Learning Gardens Site

Our site is located at Rocky Branch Trails between the Carmichael tennis and basketball courts. Our garden is free for all passersby’s’ to pick per instructions as well as providing donations to Feed the Pack pantry! This garden demonstrates a biophillic approach to urban landscape design and re-connect the individuals around growing process and sustainability.
